how i spend my time

yesterday i worked in the morning
and then i went to home depot and target to make some purchases to maintain my life's normal functioning order. that is to say, toothpaste, laundry soap, trash cans, a bottle of floor cleaner, a small broom..
now i need a small rag mop and i'll be set.
also, molasses and shortening. and rice, which i am almost out of.
and as i'm finishing cleaning the house and arranging the trash cans under the kitchen counter i am thinking about the bathroom and putting the towel tower thing in there.
so i buzz w. and he comes by as i'm sopping up mop water with a towel (the crummy sponge one is crummy.) and we head out in the car.
we hang out at his place for a while, i always find myself drawn to lay on my back on the red carpet under the silks which is so tempting. till i was overcome with hunger
and we went back to my place, getting a speeding ticket on the way,
and i made rice and we ate oranges and pita bread
and he was in the middle of a few days of a vow of silence
and we spent something like 12 hours hanging out and making food and not speaking,
he played with the banjo and i folded some laundry and we petted the cats and i studied his fingernails and he drew in his sketchbook and i made a cheesecake .
and in the morning i ate some cheesecake and showered and pulled my shoes on and left for work and

and i worked with D. and c. and j. and b. and c. and me and dan stood up rebar cactuses and carted them around and repaired a string of twinkle lights and it wasn't too bad of a time and i went home
and got on my bike and went to the cafe and drank some coffee and admired m's nice facial hair and B. came in for a minute and chatted and left
and then i left to meet mom at my place where she was going to pick up the latest stamp and pick me up to meet dad for sushi. and we had sushi and a talk and it was nice and she drove thru sonic on the way back for milkshakes.
and charlotte came over and we held down Ivy to cut the matts out of her fur. and hung around and talked
and brian came over and charlotte left and brian and i played soul caliber and zoned for a while before he left
and now ive set the laundry slaves to doing laundry and ive set the vacuuming slave to vacuuming
and i'm dreaming up a thing to build that i can put my mattress on top of that will have big long drawers where i can put things.
also i want to build casters onto my dressers so i can move without emptying them and i can rearrange and clean behind things at will.
and now the cats have piled onto me and its sleeping time.
